How do I treat my Sleep Apnea?
Midway Dental is proud to be a provider of the SomnoMed® device which is custom fitted for each patient. This orthodontic device resembles a retainer and is worn during sleep to increase the airway volume and reduce collapsibility. It works by comfortably repositioning the jaw to prevent the airway from being restricted and allows for a better nights sleep because breathing is not interrupted. It is a great alternative for patients who cannot tolerate the traditional CPAP machines.
